Toyota Avalon Automatic operation (front windows only) Push the switch completely down or pull it completely up and release to fully open or close. To stop window midway, lightly push the switch in the opposite direction. Window lock switch Deactivates all passenger windows. Driver’s window remains operable. NOTE: If battery is disconnected, the window needs to be reinitialized. Refer to the Owner’s Manual for more details.
High-intensity discharge (HID) headlights (if equipped)
If voltage to the high-intensity discharge bulbs is insufficient, the light may not come on, or may go out temporarily. The high-intensity discharge bulbs will come on when normal power is restored.
Your vehicle has computers that monitor and control certain aspects of your vehicle. These computers assist in driving and maintaining optimal vehicle performance. Besides storing data useful for troubleshooting, there is a system to record data in a crash or a near car crash event. This is called an Event Data Recorder (EDR).
