COMPONENT OPERATION / Axle
OUTLINE
The axle consists of the differential, final drive, axle shaft and brake. Power from the transmission is transmitted to the front axle and the rear axle via the propeller shaft. Inside the axle, power is transmitted to the differential, divided into left and right, and drives the axle shaft and the wheels through the final drive.
