The ampera’s shape is beauty with a purpose. Aerodynamics and airflow played a key role in the sculptured design. Reducing drag improves efficiency, meaning you can drive further and for longer. The sleek and smoothly sculpted front, streamlined roof and aerodynamic door mirrors are designed to improve airflow. Vertical slots on the rear bumper and the lightweight polycarbonate wheel inserts not only reduce drag, but also add to the Ampera’s sporty, high-tech appearance.
